About Me
X is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, as well as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200).
Dedicated to helping individuals heal mind, body, and soul through the power of purposeful recreation. X designs holistic, individualized treatment plans that empower people to reclaim their health, recovery, and well-being through meaningful leisure choices.
Throughout his career, X has designed and spearheaded comprehensive initiatives, integrating diverse modalities such as yoga, tai chi, guitar, expressive arts, and adaptive sports into everyday rehabilitation. A champion for community and movement, his favorite professional highlight is coaching teams for national adaptive sports and fitness competitions, witnessing firsthand the transformative impact of wellness on a national stage.
Beyond his clinical practice, X is deeply invested in elevating the field of recreational therapy as a whole. Combining his clinical expertise with a passion for web design, he founded Gateway Flow LLC to serve as a dynamic gateway for knowledge sharing. Inspired by the therapeutic power of “flow,” the platform is designed to keep practitioners energized and connected through a seamless exchange of evidence-based practices. By making Continuing Education Units (CEUs) more accessible and affordable, X is breaking down barriers to help therapists collectively advance the profession.
